Delphia Mae McWhirter, 85, passed away on March 22, 2023. She was born March 11, 1938 to John and Ruth Brooks in Star City, Arkansas.

Delphia is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 49 years Bobby McWhirter, 5 brothers and 3 sisters; E.J. Brooks, Harvey Brooks, Chester Brooks, Earl Brooks, Earnest Brooks, Edith Morke, Elsie O’Neil, and Edilee Brooks,

She is survived by 3 daughters; Sherrie Jones (Ricky), Carolyn McWhirter Clark (Myron), Melody “Hootie” Baker (Tommy), 6 grandchildren; Shannon Partee, Jessie Davis, Dylan Heitman, Jake Baker (Vera), Brittany Clark, great grandchildren; Lucas Clark, Kasey Monte, Vincent Baker, Zaylee Monte, Violet Baker, Bobby Partee, Trey Partee, along with numerous nieces and nephews she loved so dearly and a host of other family and friends.

Arrangements entrusted with Atkinson Funeral Home of Malvern, Arkansas. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel.
