Edison Robert Runyan

The Good Lord called Edison Robert Runyan, home on Friday October 4, 2019. He was 92 years of age, and lived in Traskwood, Arkansas. He was born of February 4, 1927, at Amity, Arkansas, and the son of Jess and Rosa Lambert Runyan. He loved deer hunting, fishing and truly loved gospel music. He retired from ABF Motor Freight in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Francis Runyan; son Milton Jess Runyan; four sisters, Marie Wright, Lucille Runyan, Laverne Lambert, and Corene Runyan Kibbey; Brothers, Andrew Runyan and Herbert Runyan.
He is survived by son Robert Dale Runyan (Vicki); Daughter Beverly Ann Collie (Wayne); Sister, Nova Lee Vincel. Grandchildren, Gina Renee Hampel, Tammye LaDale Johnson, Nathan Scott Collie,Jason Scott Runyan and Jessica Davis; Great grandchildren, Stephen Lynn Galusha, Danielle Singlton, William Tobias Collie, Calbe Pilgram, Terria Parson and Skylar Parsons;Great Great grandchildren; Zachary Lynn Galusha, Preston Lynn Galusha, Sawyer Singlton and Ryker Singleton.

Funeral Service will be held at 4 PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Fairplay Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Kenny Mitchell. The Visitation will be one hour prior to the service starting at 3 PM. Interment to follow at Fairplay Cemetery.
