Edith Carole Porter

acknowledge him and he will direct your paths-Proverbs 3:5-6 E. Carole Porter, 76, of Malvern,

AR, was born July 16, 1947 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and was placed in the hands of our Lord

on December 16, 2023. Carole was a quiet child who became a quirky and witty firecracker.

After graduating high school, she continued her education and followed in her mother's

footsteps, becoming an LPN. She worked at the military hospital in Hot Springs until she retired

in the early 2000s. Her love of Jesus and her family were among her loves of cooking and her

dog(Moca). She had a passion for music, as it ran in her blood and soul. Carole's favorite things

were sunsets, autumn, dafodils and banana splits. Carole is preceded in death by her parents,

Lester Tanner and Edith(Dillard), daughter, EJ Thomason, and 5 brothers and 5 sisters. She is

survived by her grandson Dylan Thomason (Crystal), husband Steve Porter, daughter Cindy

Thompson(Robert) and numerous family including nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will

be held at Atkinson Funeral Home, 126 E 2nd St. Malvern, AR 72104 at 11AM on December

21st, 2023. Graveside services will follow at Shiloh Cemerity, 37 Deerpark Rd. Amity, AR 71921.
