Lois Hammons

Lois Hammons 83, of Malvern went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2020. She was born October 28, 1937 in a railroad section house in Gould Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Delbert H. Webb and Margaret Findley Webb, and her husband, Kenneth Hammons, her brother Delbert H. Webb Jr. and sister Mary Louise Hopper.
Mrs. Lois Hammons graduated from Gould High School and went on to earn her BSE in Home Economics at UCA. Then attended Henderson State University and graduated with an MSE in Guidance. She was a teacher for many years. She taught at Elaine High School, Traskwood Elementary, Cutter Morning Star, and Magnet Cove. She was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 40 years. She will be deeply miss by many.
Mrs. Hammons is survived by her two sons: Scott Hammons and Barry Hammons (Rhonda) her granddaughter Catherine Hammons all of Magnet Cove, and one sister Margaret Opal Butcher of Jones Mill.

There will be private family service held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Meadowview Missionary Baptist Church or Magnet Cove Cemetery Fund.
