Nellie Faye Lee

Nellie Faye Lee, 76, of Malvern Arkansas went home to be with the Lord at Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 5, 2021. She was born Nellie Faye White to Basil and Ollie White on September 18, 1945, in Broken Bow, OK.

She had 11 brothers and sisters. Faye was a quiet child but always curious and eager to learn she was always very loving and cared deeply for her family. She worked hard at odd jobs throughout her life and tried to always be involved in her kids’ lives and the activities they were doing. She was a good cook even though she thought she wasn’t that was the thing about her, she never boasted about her beauty or talents and would often even downplay them. She truly didn't know how amazing she was. Adored by her grandchildren she tried to have a special bond with each of them and she was endearingly called Granny. She had a very special and unbreakable bond with her granddaughter Jennesis whom she called Suzie and spent many days teaching her to cook and sew.

She loved her husband Tom unconditionally, and he was wonderful to her. They enjoyed traveling for Moose Lodge and family events especially church camp each summer. She was a member and Secretary of the Malvern Moose Lodge and enjoyed spending time there with family and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Basil and Ollie. Brothers and sisters, Martha, Elsie, Ruby, Edward, Clifford, Delano, Speedy, and Eugene, three daughters, Becky Sheila, and Debbie, two grandchildren Dawana and Kar'ron, and two great-grandchildren Job and Leroy III.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas W. Lee of Malvern Arkansas, one sister Betty. Four sons Lee Smith Jr. (Michelle), Tony Vrba (Amy), Thomas Lee (Tonya), and Joseph Lee (Kelly). Three daughters, Victoria Hill (Roderick), Jennifer Davis (O.J.), and Katrina Tarlton(Randall) and a bonus daughter Latasha Russey. Seventeen grandchildren, Thomas, Chelsey, Micheal, Christopher, Lindsey, Brandi, Jon, Ashley, Kylie, James, Sawyer, JJ, Jennesis, Torrence, Waylon, Megan, and Morgan, twenty great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Her service will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
