Wafford Nelson Dyer

Wafford Nelson “Lucky” Dyer, age 90, of Malvern, AR passed away on March 2, 2023. Lucky was born on June 19, 1932, in Fayette County, Tennessee to parents, Wilburn and Pearl Dyer (Miller). Lucky is survived by his daughter, Rosa Jacobs, sons, Joe Dyer (Terrie), Ronnie Dyer (Cheryl), Chris Dyer (Debbie), John Dyer (Charlene), 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his soul mate and the love of his life, his wife Billie Jean Dyer, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, his daughter, Joyce Sargent, 1 grandson, 2 great grandsons, and 1 great, great granddaughter.

Visitation will be Monday, March 6, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Atkinson Chapel, he will be laid to rest at Oakridge Cemetery in Malvern. The family will gather at 1510 Bettis Road, Malvern, AR after the services.
