Charles Burton

Charles Milton Burton, Passed away June 1st, 2025. He was born September 25th, 1941, in the Central community. He was born to the late Rodner Pascal Burton and Callie Mae (Almond) Burton.

Charlie had a great love for hunting and fishing, which he did his whole life until his health declined. He was a man of very simple means and lived a good life because of it. He will be missed immensely.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Brothers: RB, Harold, Eugene, Winfred, and JW Burton.

Sisters: Inez Stuckey, and Melba Jean Siratt.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother Frank Burton (Linda), and sister-in-laws Margie Burton and Sue Burton.

Numerous nieces and nephews’ great nieces and great nephews and great- great nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 7, 2025, Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and services will begin at 10:30 AM
