Donald Franklin Pilcher, born October 24, 1942, in Malvern, Arkansas, passed away on August 6, 2026. He was a dedicated and respected member of the Malvern community, whose lifelong commitment to his work, family, and friends made a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Donald was the beloved son of the late Connie Pilcher and Dorothy Pilcher. Throughout his life, Donald valued family above all and maintained close ties with his loved ones. He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Dauber, and his brother, Ronnie Pilcher. His legacy also continues through his grandchildren, Tyler Dauber and Rayce Dauber, whom he treasured deeply.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Judy Pilcher, his son, Todd Pilcher, and his sisters, Marge Rogers and Karen Henderson. Their memories remained close to Donald's heart throughout his life.

A proud lifelong resident of Malvern, Donald made significant contributions to the local community, particularly through his dedication to agriculture. As the steward of a cattle farm for most of his life, he exemplified hard work and a deep respect for the land. Known as a “jack of all trades,” Donald approached every challenge with resourcefulness and skill, always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.

Donald’s leadership extended beyond his personal endeavors. Retired from Hoover Universal/Precision Industries. He served as Malvern's UAW Local 415 president for many years, advocating for workers and championing the values of fairness and solidarity among his peers. His commitment, integrity, and willingness to speak up for others earned him the esteem of his colleagues and the broader community.

Donald Franklin Pilcher will be remembered for his unwavering dedication, generosity, and the steady guidance he provided to those around him. His influence will continue to be felt by his family, friends, and the entire Malvern community. There will be no public funeral services held.
