James E. Parker

James E. Parker, born on March 19, 1955, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on May 18, 2025.

James worked at Martin Marietta, dedicating sixteen years to the company. His work ethic and commitment to excellence left a lasting impression on both his colleagues and the projects he contributed to during his tenure.

He is survived by his four step children: Mary Ann Franklin, Teresa Diggs (Curtis), Janet Efird, and Grady Efird, Grandchildren, Jessica Chambers, Jacob Chambers, Danielle Freeman (Grant), Stephanie Franklin, and Eric Diebold, Aaron Diggs, as well as his great-grandchildren, Bentley, Kyle, Paisley, Ransom, Bronson, Legend, Easton, Blakely and Remington.

James was preceded in death by his beloved wife Loretta Parker, along with his parents Edgar and Alma Parker, sister Rebecca Parker; brothers Richard Parker, Phillip Parker, and Ronnie Parker

James E. Parker will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to family, his commitment to his work, and the impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him.
