Laura Lee Brown

Laura Lee Brown, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on June 19, 2025. She was born on January 17, 1967, in California. Laura's warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of everyone around her, making her a cherished member of her community.

Laura is survived by her devoted husband, Lee Brown, with whom she shared 32 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family that includes their three children: Aaron Sandlin, Brandon Naiper, and Maria Gonzales. She took great pride in her role as a mother, guiding her children with love and wisdom.

In addition to her children, Laura was a treasured grandmother to her grandchildren: Jayden Sandlin, Clemetine Gonzales, and Christopher Kukendall. Her legacy of love and support will live on through them as they carry forward her values and the joyful memories they shared.

Laura's heart was also filled with affection for her mother, Mildred Decker, and her sibling, Jodie Sandlin. They, along with numerous nieces, nephews, a host of other family and friends, will remember her for her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and the deep bonds she forged with those around her.

Laura was preceded in death by her father, Robert Sandlin, who undoubtedly welcomed her into eternal peace.

As we remember Laura Lee Brown, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by love, compassion, and enduring dedication to her family and friends. Her memory will be treasured in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 1:00 to 1:30 pm at the Atkinson Chapel. Services will follow beginning at 1:30 pm at Atkinson Chapel with interment at the Mount Harmony Cemetery in Haskell.
