Layten John Hughes

Layten John Hughes, 45 of Malvern, passed away on July 24, 2022. Layten was born December 8, 1976, in Malvern, Arkansas to Johnny Hughes and Ruzema Draper. Layten was an outdoorsman, loved fishing and hunting, he always had a quiet disposition, enjoyed looking for rocks and arrows, shooting pool, and a very competitive gamer who loved to win.

Layten is preceded in death by his grandparents; Maudie and Alonzo Combs, grandfather; Clarence Hughes, grandmother; Rachel Hughes, and his loving father; Johnny Hughes.

Layten leaves behind his mother; Ruzema Draper (Harry), a sister; Joanie McDaniel (John), and a nephew; Zander. He will be greatly missed by family and many good friends.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Donations can be made to the Hot Spring County Animal Shelter. Online condolences can be made at www.atkinsonfuneralhome.net
