Mary Jane Easterling

Mary Jane Easterling, born on July 12, 1948, in Malvern, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Howard and Pearl Almeda Easterling, who preceded her in death, along with her brothers, Howard Easterling Jr., Doug Easterling, and Nephew Todd Easterling. 

Mary  is remembered for her dedication to living a simple life, filled with the joys of music and the warmth of family and friends. Throughout her life, she found happiness in the little things and cherished every moment.

A proud member of the Church of Christ in Leola, Mary's  faith played a significant role in shaping her character and guiding her interactions with others. Her commitment to her community and her church reflected her values and served as an inspiration to those around her.

Mary is survived by her brother, Ronald Easterling, and his wife Patsy, her sister-in-law Sue Easterling, as well as her nieces Traci (David) Harrington, Brandi(Jonathan) Collins, and Kaci Brown, nephew Clint Easterling, great nephews; Seth (Ashley) Easterling and Drew Collins, great nieces; Meredith Collins, Charley (Jesse) James, Megan Harrington and Marissa Harrington, one great great niece; Waverly James. She leaves behind a legacy of love and connection, cherished by her family.

Visitation will be held on May 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, both taking place at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel.  Following services interment will occur at Fairplay Cemetery.
