Mary Cathleen Petty

Mary Cathleen Petty, 87, of Malvern, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 12th, 2025, at Spring of Red Oak Nursing Home. She was born September 4th, 1938, in Friendship, Arkansas, to Elbert and Dulcie Casada. Cathy cleaned houses for a living for over 20 years and was a Beautician and always known for her dedication to working hard at anything she did. She enjoyed the Outdoors, tending her Yard and Gardening and sitting out under her shade trees admiring the beauty of God’s work. She loved the Lord and attended Church regularly. Cathy will be greatly missed for her wisdom and honesty about Life by all who knew her. Cathy is preceded in death by her Loving husband of 45 years, Billy Joe Petty of Malvern; her Mother, (Dulcie Casada) and Father (Elbert), Brother, Earnest (Son) Casada, Sister, Marcile Gray. Survivors include her Sister, Gloria (Jean) Dorris, Brother, Delton Casada, Son, David Petty, Grandchild, Jonathan Petty, numerous Nieces, Nephews and Great-Great Grand Children. Services are entrusted with Atkinson Funeral Home of Malvern, Arkansas. Mary was laid to rest at Magnet Cove Cemetery.
