Ronald Ray Carman passed away on July 10, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 75. He was born on October 12, 1950, in Nashville, Arkansas. Throughout his life, Ronald exemplified dedication, kindness, and a steadfast commitment to his family, friends, and service.

Ronald served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army. This period of service reflected his sense of duty and responsibility, traits that continued to define him throughout his life.

Those who knew Ronald appreciated his dry sense of humor, his intelligence, and his quiet, private nature. He was someone who cared deeply for those around him. He had enjoyed sailing with his best friend, Steve, and hiking, traveling, and birdwatching with Mary Ann.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Yaich. He is also survived by his sister, Peggy James and her husband, Rex; his brother, William Daniel, and sister-in-law, Kelly; his brother, Samuel Bennett Carman; his nephews Michael, Jordan Raper, and Daniel Carman; and his nieces, Ashley, Marlo McMillan, and Christine DeMaio. Each held a special place in his heart, and his connections with his family formed an enduring part of his legacy.

He is preceded in death by his late wife, Francine DiMaio Carman; his father, William Carman; his mother, La Verne Carman; and his nephews, Ronald and Jon.

A graveside service to honor and remember Ronald’s life will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery, 731 Wilson Street, Malvern, Arkansas, on July 18, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m.Ronald Ray Carman’s memory will be cherished by those whose lives he touched, and his legacy of integrity, humor, and care for others endures.
