Ruth Harriet Dial, of Leola, Arkansas, passed away on November 5, 2026, at the age of 76. She was born on March 10, 1950, in Wisconsin, and will be remembered as a woman whose life was rooted in the joy of togetherness, the comfort of family, and the simple happiness found in time well spent with those she loved.

Ruth cherished the company of her family and friends, and some of her greatest pleasures were being surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed going out to eat, turning ordinary outings into treasured moments of laughter, conversation, and connection. Those who knew her will remember the warmth she brought to gatherings and the love she so readily shared.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Dial, whose companionship was a central part of her life. She also leaves behind her sons, Timothy Stanton and Julie, Robbie Stanton and Yolanda, Shelby Brown and Corey, and Dagen Dial; and her sister, Patsy McMullen. Ruth’s love extended across generations, and her family will carry forward the memory of her affection, her presence, and the many moments they shared together.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Sampson; her mother, Frances Sampson; her daughter, Victoria Keen; her sisters, May Causey, Ann Cullen, Vicky Deavers, Lavern Phelps, and Jan Miller; and her brothers, John Sampson and Sam Sampson. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Purifoy and Dr. Kakadia and their staffs. 

Ruth Harriet Dial will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory lives on in the family she treasured, the friendships she nurtured, and the countless shared meals, conversations, and embraces that made her life so meaningful.
